"Columbus" of course, is an old Pawnee indian word meaning "Town without a viaduct" or "Village of detours."
This is a notice for the few that enjoy stopping by to watch the Columbus Days Pee-Raid under the shade of my ancient trees- due to the road constuction, the Pee-Raid route has been changed. It will begin @ 33rd Ave & 23rd St. ( I'm guessing set up in the old HyVee/Menards parking) It will proceed south on 33rd Ave. and go east down 13th St. to Frankenfurter Square. If you still feel the need to stop by the shade trees on the particular day, feel free to, but I can not predict whether we will be here or not.
Plan accordingly. Have a nice day. Don't forget to breath.
Christopher the Magnificent.
