well,
by: clary_net on February 5, 2010, 5:18 pm

well, i am bored, sitting at home.
our cable isnt working or something because every channel over 13 doesnt work, i think since tuesday, ive seen juno about 6 or 7 times.
im passing every class, THANK THE LORD. At least i think i am. English class is interesting, after having a jousting competition the other day, we are now writing stories. The stories are about our 10 year reunion, we get to make up lives for people in our class. It has been fun thinking up things for different people.
Cheerleading is pretty stupid. We have the little kids cheercamp on satuday, and we just made up the dances yesterday (thursday) we are very unorganized and all ready for the season to be over. Competition is in 2 weeks and we havent even started with a dance for that. and thats like state. although, i wont have to go through the embarassment of not knowing a dance because i will not be going. I cant go because i am in the musical.
The musical we are doing this year is willy wonka. I have a small part, my name is Matilda. I am only in the musical not in any of the movies. I have a one line solo, and a couple lines. Hopefully everyone gets there stuff memorized and it comes together. We still have quite a ways to go with it. Our main panio player is a sophomore, Nick Preister. He plays basketball and at practice his hand got stepped on. He broke his thumb. He came to practice on thursday and played somehow and did an amazing job, so hopefully all works out.
Im not doing track this year as i said earlier. Im just far too lazy:)
Im looking forward to the summer and for school to end.
i hope all is going well with everyone

Me
by: Mac on February 5, 2010, 10:27 am

Well my basketball season is coming to a near endd.. I have at least two more games. I have one Saturday at 1:00 pm and Tuesday at 4:15/5:45 I think. I have decided not to do track. It will be nice to come home for once and not have to stay at school for 2 or more hours. I have a band concert on March 29th and Nathan does too considering we are in the same band class. The school year has gone by so fast and I enjoyed my Freshman year at the High School. These next three years will probably go even faster.. I plan on having a work out schedule that me and my friends are planning so we stay in shape for fall sports next year. I will be running and lifting after school until it gets nice enough for me to just lift at school and then come home and run. I thought since everyone else was updating on their lives I would let everyone know what is going on in my life.

Random Thoughts...

I still refuse to run. I think work keeps me in shape.

Hello, hello! I guess i can let you know what I am up to which is not much. I start my job today at service master i will be cleaning at the hospital, the credit union and the dept. of roads building throughout the week. I am excited to get back to working because the vacation i was taking was getting far to long, and i could use some cash:).

I am also about 22 weeks along and getting a belly, for those of you who don't know i am due June 6th of this year. I have been doing alright so far and I'm crossing my fingers that I am completely done with the morning sickness. Otherwise baby is doing good and defiantly doing a lot of swimming, which i may say is amazing. Oh yeah, he or she apparently loves or hates Jewel because it seems when I'm singing her songs i get some bigger kicks. who knows maybe the baby just wants me to shut up.. I am getting super pumped to be a mom and can't believe i am already halfway through this pregnancy. =)

Now, Zach and I are doing great and halfway planing getting married and moving to Colorado, but i have decided that I want to focus on the Baby first and just do one thing at a time for with my hormones I seem to kind of be all over the place lately. Zach has been amazing through this and has been taking good care of us we are living in columbus at 2118 4th st in a duplex currently. I really don't know what else to share besides I am very glad we live near DQ because I have not been able to get enough of their ice cream.
Much love!
Al=)

Kirk is a guy you know
by: Kirk on January 30, 2010, 11:04 am

I thought I would update you all too. I just got done with my daily hour or more run. This week I did 59 miles, my personal best. I plan on running in the Lincoln half-marathon. My interest in running has come as a solution to the clash between my desire to eat a lot of food and my desire to live as long as I can. It has turned out to be a very good solution.

Jupiter keeps me very busy. He is starting to brave the world as a walker and soon I will have trouble keeping up with him (which provides further motivation to be in shape). He is starting to toddle, and will soon be a proficient toddler.

I am about 1/3 of the way through my bachelors program at WGU which I started about a year ago.

We are getting close to the point where we can list our house and then perhaps move. Chris is working on getting her licence transfered to Missouri, which is apparently quite a drawn out process. The biggest hurdle is the law test she has to take. Pharmaceutical law varies quite a bit from state to state.

I sold my truck to Chris's dad and brother because they needed a reliable second vehicle, and we find that the truck isn't a very family oriented vehicle. We replaced the Ranger with a Highlander. We like it very much.

Not much else to say right now. Oh except one thing, which maybe quite insignificant, but since Flip like to dispute that, I will let you be the judge. I need to do a number 2.

Kirk out.

Tubes unclogged...
by: Derek on January 27, 2010, 2:13 pm

ManBearPig was clogging the tubes, I took care of him and my tubes are fine now.

Anyway, I'll follow the trend. I have a weekly routine which is followed by random weekends to various place. Last weekend I went to Columbia MO (a.k.a. America's armpit) for a basketball game. A couple weekends before that I went to some football game in Denver. Some team that never wins actually won that game.

I'm taking graduate classes now. Basically I knew if I stopped taking classes I would never start again so I figured why not. So far they are not too tough.

On Tuesday's I go to pint night on Old Chicago and Thursday's I go to BW3's for boneless night and to hang out with some friends. If any family in the Lincoln area ever wants to hang out those would be the nights cause I usually don't do much else.

I also moved, my new address is:

5500 Warwick Ct Apt 13
Lincoln, NE 68516

Same complex, only it is a one-bedroom apartment with a better view and a balcony. I use my mini grill out on my patio frequently. My neighbors definitely think I'm odd but nothing beats a good brat fresh of the grill.

Welp, I suppose I should get back to work now.

no news
by: jonnybones on January 26, 2010, 5:22 pm

Hey family. I hope all is well with everyone. There is really nothing to report here, besides plans. Nothing has been happening this month besides cursing at the weather. Work is slow.

I'm headin back to school this fall, this time i'm not stopping until i have a degree in hand. I don't care what it takes... I'm gonna be paying off loans anyway I might as well have something to show for it. I'm gonna go after an International Studies degree... which is basically a geography degree, but a lot more broad and potentially useful if I don't want to teach or work for the government.

Music stuff is going good. I'm heading to Austin with my pal Ringo in March for a few days. He'll be recording songs for his band's album and I will be doing some guest vocals and guest mandolin a couple of tracks. Should be fun. My band is playing tomorrow night in Lincoln, and we have a few more shows tentatively lined up for the next few months. Maybe this summer we'll be able to get a two week midwest tour lined up. That's the hope. We recorded in November and should have some CDs out in the next couple of months.

Ringo lives in Ames, Iowa with his wife. They live near a river so when it gets warm out we're planning a nice long, relaxing, drunken canoe trip. When it gets warm, if it ever happens...

Our lease is up in March, and we're all probably going to go separate ways. My hope is to find a little tiny one bedroom house near downtown here in Lincoln. Somewhere where I can get a nice dog and have some garden space.

Anyways, like I said, thats not really news, just stuff that might happen if I survive the winter. Its been brutal. I can feel myself aging every day.

Take care all. Uncle Chris, behave yourself ok?
