This time from home. I made it back with no problem at all. There was some pretty bad traffic in Texas (not sure what was the cause) and Oklahoma (due to a bunch of construction) so it was a pretty decent hike at 16 and a half hours. It's kind of surreal to see the sun go down while you're driving, and before you finish driving you already see it peeking back up over the horizon. Pretty fun, though. I had a great trip, but I'm about ready for a nap.

So I thought this was Augspot newsworthy. The Lincoln Journal Star ran an interview/article about our band yesterday. I figured I'd share the link here:

They misspelled one of the song titles (it's Gringo Starr...) and they definitely paraphrased a lot of our quotes, but it was nice to be in the paper at least.

In reading the OWH this AM, Tony noticed an article about eight Omaha bands heading for Texas. Also a picture of a group called IT'S TRUE. One of the members sure looks like you. Are we right..... Cool!!!! HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY!

This time from Memphis. I'm just stopping for lunch, though. If I'm going to get to Austin by tomorrow night, I should probably try to make it to New Orleans tonight. I could take a shorter route through Arkansas, but then I probably wouldn't be able to get gumbo.
